The City of Minneapolis is adding two new options for people to receive news and event updates (other than from The Mayor Blog that is). The City now has a profile on Twitter (www.twitter.com/CityMinneapolis) that city communicators will use to alert about breaking news, announcements, events, road closures and programs sponsored by the City. The City has also added two RSS feeds (one for the City, one for Mayor Rybak) to its Web site that people can use to stay informed about City news and events.
